Permanent Weight Loss Doesn’t Have To Be So Hard!

You’re super busy...you got things to do, places to go, people to see. You have a family and a demanding career!  The LAST thing you want to do is spend every waking hour counting calories, dreading the results of your last meal, or worrying over what you’ll look like in that new swimsuit you picked out for that long overdue beach vacation. Part of you wants to start counting calories again, maybe start doing WW again (hey - what’s old is new again, right?) or just work out more. Than you already have been. Maybe you should go back to what you were doing before.

Just between you and me.... What you've tried before hasn't worked long term.

You know going back to the same old,
same old is not the solution.

It’s not that you don’t know what you want - you do! You’re just not quite sure how to get there. Or, you have an idea of what you should do...some ideas you’ve cobbled together from different sources... but you simply can’t get yourself to take action on a consistent basis.

​I hear this question all the time from women I work with! They’re confused, overwhelmed and lost. And just a tad (okay, a LOT) Frustrated! They’ve been trying to lose weight for a while, and be consistent with what they know...but….

You see….contrary to popular belief...we’re NOT all programmed to succeed with our Weight and our Self Confidence. In fact, we’ve been programmed to FAIL.

The secret is in your mind. It's in your mental programming

It all starts with how we Think. Consider This….

How many times have you had a small challenge at work, with your husband, or a goal you might have been trying to meet...you have a small setback...and all of a sudden a flood of negative thoughts assault your mind? Like the floodgates were suddenly open…and you felt powerless to stop it...

And you start feeling defeated….anxious...maybe even depressed.

That’s what we’ll call our *CaveGirl Brain*. Our CaveGirl brain Keeps us from our best life, she can keep us stuck in a never ending cycle of self-sabotage, even when we want to do better.

So often, women believe weight and health are their issues. The truth is….it’s a symptom of the problem – of not having the knowledge and the tools to make it better, create consistency and lasting results. It’s why *falling off the wagon* has become accepted as normal.

Crazy, right?

It’s why most women exercise for countless hours a week, while feeling hungry and deprived (and miserable and angry!) on a boring, bland diet. They think it’s the only way. Crazy thing is…..They’re Not Getting RESULTS.

How do I know this?

For so long, my inner *CaveGirl* was running the show and kept me Overweight, Unhappy and on a Hamster Wheel of Weight Loss/Weight Gain!

When I Hit my Thirties... somehow…. the weight refused to budge, no matter what I did.

And guess what? All the tricks, tips and methods I used for years suddenly stopped working. I’d lose 5 pounds. Gain them back. Lose 7, gain 10...you know the rest!

I was overweight, embarrassed and back on the hamster wheel AGAIN, only this time...the weight wouldn’t come off. I found myself staring at my ‘Fat’ clothes and scared to throw them away.

I knew I had to find a better way, for myself and my clients.

So I started researching and experimenting on myself so I could find what worked.

I learned that….

Real and LASTING weight loss has to come from the INSIDE OUT

And to do that, I’d have to learn how to think (and eat!) like a naturally thin person thinks and eats.

I had to train my *CaveGirl Brain* to think like a thin person.

So, that’s what I did.

I just wanted to share with everyone that I have lost 28 pounds since September!

Leeia knows how long I have been wanting this. I went very very drastic. I cut out dairy, all processed food, sugars, alcohol (I’m French) and most carbs. That left very little room for anything else than veggies, fruits, meat, nuts and healthy grains. Leeia has always said "eat clean" and I thought I was 🙂 I "ate clean" and really thought I was doing good, but always reached a plateau. I would easily go from 170 pounds to 162 pounds, then it would stop, no matter how "clean" I ate. I think cutting dairy and pasta is what made me finally break the plateau. I treat myself with a plate of pasta or homemade warm bread once in a while, but I seriously don’t miss it as much as I thought I would! I cannot workout physically, so I really had to focus on nutrition alone. I am very happy and all I can say is THANK YOU LEEIA!
