ABOUT ME

Dear Exceptional Woman,

I bet I know who you are - and who you REALLY want to be. You’re amazing at what you do and you excel at just about anything you put your mind to. At work, you’re the example - people ask you for help (your coworkers probably wonder how you come up with such great ideas). And, you’re probably really tired - like, sick and tired of being sick and tired - trying to keep up appearances - like you feel *OK* but not really. Truth be told, you know you should be more than just *OK*, but you can’t crack the weight loss code, no matter what you do - and you’ve *done all the things* - but dammit, nothing has worked long term, like you need it to.

It’s maddening, sad and exhausting all at the same time.

It’s maddening, sad and exhausting all at the same time.

And maybe you’re also a little pissed off (or maybe a lot) - you’re probably frustrated (that’s an understatement, right?) And you feel like you’re all alone, even though you have your family (they think they understand but don’t), and your friends who say you look great (you think to yourself they’re either lying or just unhealthy themselves, or just don’t get it.)

How am I doing so far?

Nope, I haven’t been spying on you - but the truth is I know this because I’ve been there. I spent sooo much time in my life doing *All The Things* to get healthy and lose weight - and I tried them for over 10 YEARS. To be totally transparent, I failed. I failed A LOT. Then, I cracked the weight loss code. FOR GOOD. I still have to work on things, but not *All The Things* - and now, it’s pretty effortless.

I help women learn how to get healthy and lose weight permanently - so they can do it for a lifetime.

I help women learn how to get healthy and lose weight permanently - so they can do it for a lifetime.

These women do these things because it’s what they’ve been told - by a trainer, friend, fb group, Instagram *influencer* or Google - that this is what they need to do to lose weight - that, and killing themselves in the gym or with home workouts.

If you’re still reading and this is you, I want you to know there is a better, different way. It starts with understanding that anyone can *lose weight* but developing the mindset to keep it off effortlessly requires a different set of tools. If everyone knew that and knew how to do it, everyone would have the results they wanted.

These are the tools I used, and I want to give them to you.

I assure you, that once you learn what really works, and master your mentality when it comes to weight loss, health, and food, your body will change, and your outlook will change, for good.

And when that stops working, or they hit a plateau, they’re off to the next *diet* or *workout plan*. They’re on the hamster wheel, so….
…...the cycle starts over. Lose a few, gain more, eat less, workout more, till you can’t anymore.....I know the drill, and probably - so do you.
As we relearn how to really lose weight - for the Long Term - we can let go of the myths, hourlong grueling workouts overthinking food and food guilt. You gain confidence, experience results and feel good about the process - probably for the first time in a very long time.

I help smart, busy, professional women lose weight permanently without endless calorie counting, overthinking, over-exercising, meal prepping and stress - so they can have more energy, look great and feel great all the time!

I do this by holding your feet to the fire, and helping you learn how to make weight loss easier and more effortless. I remind you of why you even started this, and hold your hand through the process. I’m half hard-ass and half cheerleader.

I help you celebrate your successes, drop the bad habits and negative self talk so YOU can be happier, enjoy the process, love your food and HAVE A LIFE. And I can do all this because what I described above is the woman I used to be and I have turned being healthy into a true lifestyle - one that doesn’t stress me out and one that IS NOT all I think about.

In 2009 I hit my own proverbial rock bottom. I was going through the divorce from hell and in a job where I hated the people that I worked with. In fact, I was hating life.  I was eating to numb the pain. If I’m completely honest, my eating was out of control all through the marriage, because I felt I needed to *fit in* with his family. My rock bottom came as I ended up in the fetal position in the breakroom at work, crying my eyes out. Then, I knew I needed help. I was put on antidepressants for 6 months - something I said I would NEVER DO - but I couldn’t even function day to day.

One day, as I was starting to pull myself together, a voice said *Get On The Scale*. I don’t know why it happened at that moment, I wasn’t doing anything in particular. But I listened. Got on the Scale. And I was mortified to find that I was 65 pounds overweight. 65.Pounds. Then and there, that voice inside me said *it’s time to do something*. It was. I did.

I was done overeating!

DONE saying YES to things I really wanted to say NO to.

That day, I took any and all excuses off the table
If it was to be, it was going to be up to ME.

I knew I was WORTHY of more. And I was going to get it. But, I didn’t know how to get there…I needed help and support outside of myself.

And once I started this journey, dealt with my demons, and stopped using food and exercise as both a punishment and a crutch, I was overwhelmed with the feeling that there were women out there just like me. Maybe their circumstances were different, but I was sure they had been through their own personal crap and they were stuck, just like I was - counting macros to obsession, killing themselves in their workouts - and working out A LOT (and not just because they wanted to, but because they thought they HAD TO). Letting food control them and emotional eating; cutting more and more calories; eating things they secretly hated; comparing their results to others and jumping around from diet to diet in a bid to find what *worked* only not getting the results they wanted. Wondering why, so they kept trying harder and beating themselves up along the way.

What I just described is how I spent my life for about 10 years. The cycle never stops when you don’t know any other way.
